Anti-larval measures for malaria control in Africa: Pilot studies of urban malaria control in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

This project will be integrated with our ongoing programme in which we aim to conduct a two year evaluation and development of public health infrastructure in Dar es Salaam, with the specific aim of exploring the potential for implementing a programme of integrated malaria control. We particularly aim to collect baseline data which would constitute a starting point for subsequent interventions and to conduct preliminary trials of appropriate intervention packages in selected wards of Dar es Salaam.
