The Ifakara Demographic Surveillance
System (IC DSS) is a member of the An International
Network of field sites with continuous Demographic
Evaluation of Populations and Their Health in
developing countries (INDEPTH
NETWORK)
Through this network, ICDSS
has been contributing to providing a better
and empirical understanding of health and social
issues in resource constrained countries through
a collective potential of the community-based
longitudinal demographic surveillance initiatives
worldwide.
Through participation to the Network (INDEPTH),
IC DSS is involved to various cross site initiatives
